A little more than a month left to go before the big weekend! Artists are getting their drawings in order and clients are getting their ideas sorted. Even though everyone is so busy, Ryan Thomas still had time to answer our Featured Artist Questionnaire so that clients could get a little more familiar with this skilled artist. How long have you been a tattoo artist?
“I’ve been tattooing for 13 years.”
What would you say is your favorite style to tattoo?
“My favorite style is when I get to do something out of my head with no reference.”
Do you have anything especially fun planned for the weekend in regards to tattoos? Any large pieces going to be in the works?
“I plan on doing one big tattoo during the convention and leaving time for anyone who wants one.”
Will you be entering your work in to any of the contests that are going on that weekend?
“I will absolutely be entering in to some of the contests! Which one depends on what tattoos I end up doing.”
Do you have any influences in the tattoo community? What about other artists that might inspire your work?
“I’m inspired by a lot of artists and life in general.”
Do you have a favorite moment as a tattoo artist? Maybe a client that was especially memorable or a tattoo that you did and just absolutely loved?
“I love when my clients absolutely love their tattoos, those are my favorite moments.”
Have you ever attended the LFOD Expo before? What years?
“I have attended almost every LFOD convention. I won my first convention award at the very first show :)”
What made you decide to participate in this years Expo?
“I’m attending this year for the fun and to let people know I’m back in NH full time.”
Do you think you’ll return again next year?
“I will definitely be back next year whether it’s to tattoo or party and hang out with like minded people.”
