It’s always awesome when a resident of New Hampshire returns to visit after they’ve moved away. That’s how we feel about visiting artist Liz Miller anyway! She’s a talented tattoo artist from the New England area that moved out to California and is absolutely killing it out there! She’s one of our featured artists this year and she took the time to answer some questions for us! Remember, if you haven’t gotten your tickets for the event, get them now! We’re a little over a month away!

How long have you been a tattoo artist?
“I have been tattooing for 13 years.”
What would you say is your favorite style to tattoo?
“My favorite style is definitely American traditional!”
Do you have anything especially fun planned for the weekend in regards to tattoos? Any large pieces going to be in the works?
“Any big pieces that I do are TBA and I like to keep them as a surprise.”
Will you be entering your work in to any of the contests that are going on that weekend?
“Maybe!”
Do you have any influences in the tattoo community? What about other artists that might inspire your work?
“Some of my influences and inspirations are Karl Lark, Bert Grimm, Amund Dietzel, Dan Higgs, Uzi, Scott Sylvia, and Freddy Corbin.”
Do you have a favorite moment as a tattoo artist? Maybe a client that was especially memorable or a tattoo that you did and just absolutely loved?
“A really memorable moment for me was first time I got to pick up a machine and do a tattoo on my mentor.”
Have you ever attended the LFOD Expo before? What years?
“I have been at LFOD 2006-present.”
What made you decide to participate in this years Expo?
“I’m from here and love visiting family, friends, and clients who are in the Tri-state area!”
Do you think you’ll return again next year?
“Of course!”
